In order to solve any dispute arising from the application of the provisions about distance contracts and contracts negotiated outside business premises, as set forth by the Italian Consumers’ Code, Sections I-IV, Chapter I, Title III, Part III, modified by the Legislative Decree No.21/2014, it is possible to resort to the mediation procedures established by the Legislative Decree No. 28/2010, so as to reach an extrajudicial settlement of civil and commercial disputes. The mediation request shall be submitted by the party who is interested in it, by filing a petition in front of a mediation body of the place where is located the court that would be competent over the judicial dispute. The party is free to choose the body amongst the certified bodies registered into the relevant register of the Ministry of Justice. The procedure shall comply with the procedure laid down by the Legislative Decree No. 28/2010, herewith fully referred to.
