BRIKO: A History Filled With Victories Since 1985
PEOPLE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE…
Briko has a long history of success. Commercial triumphs go hand in hand with its athletes' victories, those same athletes who give their advice on product development - the products that allow them to optimize their performance and that often prove to be decisive technical tools.
Briko also means technology research, comfort, design, so that each product, apart from being an helmet, a goggle, an eyewear or a t-shirt, aims to satisfy the sporting side of all of us.
BRIKO YESTERDAY…
Started in 1985 with the production of waxes for the Italian ski team, Briko made its mark within a short time. Briko down a road of victories in a growing number of sports and disciplines. With innovative ideas, four product lines were created in just a few years: WAX & TOOLS, EYEWEAR, HELMETS and ACTIVE WEAR.
There are several important steps that should be remembered along Briko’s history: from the development of the THRAMA lenses in 1989 (an actual light "equalization" system designed to offer various levels of filtration) to the launch of the first cycling helmet in 1992, the KASCO; from the expansion of the ACTIVE WEAR PROGRAMME in 2000 with the introduction of the KATANA COLLECTION to the launch in the same year of the FORERUNNER ski freeride helmet, with its sleek design and technical features.
The list of successes continued to grow.
From 1993 through to present day, the Briko Brand has become world renown in the technical-sports equipment sector with technically innovative product and a string of exciting sports victories.
Since 2001 Briko has become a mark of Type 20. Combining the historical background of the mark with an international managing knowledge the company has rapidly grown and enlarged its worldwide export channel. Type 20 is also licensee of Arnette brand: helmets, goggles and wear.
